Currently, his research focuses on evaluations of urbanized areas related to the impacts of climate change and on working with climate data from the research weather stations. His research activity is very closely connected to work with spatial data, creating models in a GIS environment also including the satellite images. He also applies this knowledge in teaching.
As part of his research, he participated in international and national projects (Horizon 2020, EEA, VEGA).
