Firouz Aghazadeh is a PhD student at the Institute of Management of the Slovak Technical University in Bratislava. He completed his undergraduate (2016) and postgraduate (2018) studies in the Faculty of Planning and Environmental Sciences in Climatology (Bachelor) and Remote Sensing and Geographical Information System (Bachelor) in Tabriz University.
As a part of his research activity, he assesses environmental risks from the point of view of the performance of natural and human challenges (for example, heat islands, cooling, air pollution, thermal comfort at the street level, climate change and its effects at the city level), creating models and processing of spatial data, processing of satellite images and monitoring of environmental data and its changes, etc. are assigned.
Currently, his research is focused on assessing the challenges of urban areas related to the effects of climate change and working with climate data from satellite images and meteorological stations that he manages. In his research, he also studies urban challenges in terms of socio-economic, climate, pollution, and heat. His research activity is working with spatial data, creating modeling in ARC GIS, ARC GIS Pro and IDRISI, processing satellite images in ENVI and Python environment, etc. He also helps students in Tabriz University in the field of GIS and satellite image processing in their projects.

- A comprehensive study of the qualitative and environmental pathology of the Hajilerchai watershed (GIS & RS Expert)_ 2018-2019
- Compilation of the economic development and job creation program of East Azerbaijan villages studies with a participatory approach; First phase (GIS Expert)_ 2019-2021
- Compilation of the economic development and job creation program of East Azerbaijan villages studies with a participatory approach; Second phase (GIS Expert)_ 2022-2023
- Military service project. Processing, interpretation and verification of data from selected climatological satellites; 2019-2021
