Mgr. Silvia Ondrejičková, PhD. works as a secretary and scientific secretary at the Department of Environmental Management and Spatial Planning and the EU Centre of Excellence Spectrum . She is a person dealing with the internal quality system, and is also partially dedicated to the issue of quality assessment of CAF processes, especially in the context of education and scientific research work at universities. The main topics she deals with academically and practically are the design for all approach, urban safety, community planning and social work. She participates in several national and international research projects. During the past years, she worked at two other universities. At the Slovak University of Technology, she was the person responsible for the internal quality system, scientific and research secretary, as well as an advisor for students with specific needs at the Institute of Management. At the University of Trenčín, she worked in the project center as a career advisor and as an assistant professor with a focus on project management. He uses his experience in creating territorial strategies “UMR” of the regional city of Trenčín as well as of a higher territorial unit in teaching, creating strategic documents by introducing practical experience into teaching, guiding students on excursions during their studies and other activities.
She worked as an advisor in the field of education, social affairs and healthcare while working in several institutions (e.g. the Union of the Blind and Visually Impaired of Slovakia, etc.) and in the processing of strategic documents, as well as in the field of security and prevention, where she participated in preventive actions, methodological materials, crime prevention projects in close cooperation with the city, state, traffic police and the integrated rescue system 112.
During her studies and previous practice, she worked with people with specific needs, as well as in organizations that directly provided or mediated services for specific groups, or led future workers who will deal with specific groups in their future work. She is the author of several outputs on this topic as well as educational films. She also deals with the current topic of Trauma in us and around us – not only for people working and meeting with people who have left Ukraine. She works as a student advisor, and is also there if necessary to mediate psychological support for students and colleagues or career counseling for students, or to mediate professional help.
